Hope and Dignity Dolls
In Vietnam, it is commonly believed (even by some members of the medical community) that nothing can be done for children with cerebral palsy. Some families are told to take them home and love them – that’s all you can do! No therapy, no school, no social interaction. Just love.
These are no ordinary dolls. They bring the magic of hope and dignity! They are not just toys. They let children with cerebral palsy in Vietnam know that the world loves them. They remind the family that every child can learn to do new things. They provide hope and dignity for the child and their family. That’s why they are called them: “Hope and Dignity Dolls”.
What Can I Do to Help?
For $100 you can “purchase” a doll for a child with Cerebral palsy in Vietnam. And you receive a charitable receipt for $100!
100% of your donation will go directly to the work of No Ordinary Journey Foundation to raise awareness and provide services to the child that receive the doll as well as many others.
In 2015 our projects in Vietnam include the first ever conference on Cerebral Palsy to be held in that country.
