No Ordinary Journey Foundation . . .
. . . was founded by Laverne Bissky, her husband David Dziadyk and their son Devon. Devon's sibling, Kasenya, has severe Cerebral Palsy. Life with her has taught them that, despite her physical limitations, her mind is sharp. She is as full of passion as anyone else. She is as capable of learning. And with a little help she can experience life's joys. Laverne, Dave, Devin and Kasenya share a passion for travel. On a trip to Vietnam they discovered that Vietnamese children with Cerebral Palsy are offered little hope and less support. This foundation, named for Kasenya's extraordinary journey, was conceived on that trip. No Ordinary Journey Foundation brings hope to parents of disabled children, helping them to introduce their children to the joys of life. |
